Your Purpose-Driven Role:
As a Healthcare Aide with Correct Staffing, you’ll be a vital part of the resident care team, offering daily support with empathy, respect, and professionalism. In this essential role, you will:

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide support during meals, including feeding assistance and documentation of intake.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions to the nursing team.
• Encourage resident engagement in recreational activities and promote a safe, supportive environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Foster comfort, dignity, and connection with residents and their families.

About You:
You bring compassion, patience, and a strong sense of purpose to your care. You’re attentive to detail and recognize the power of small, meaningful interactions. You are dependable, empathetic, and thrive in a team-oriented long-term care setting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Completion of a recognized Health Care Assistant program (HCA Certification) – required
• Registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry – required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term or residential care – preferred
• Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen (required for this opportunity)
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, and team members
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to adapt to changing care needs
